I'm happy to report that we've had our first visitors to the island! and for those of you know know them, you will not be surprised in the least that the winners of this grand prize are: Pop & Farf (aka George & Carole, aka Dad & Mom).
They arrived VERY early on Sunday 17 April and will be with us through 09 May, here for Orthodox Easter with enough time to fit in 1 week in Egypt and a 4 day trip to Jordan. Don't you wish you were retired too? The first few days here, we just hung out in Nicoisa, getting to know the town. They visited Mr. Butcher, found yummy breads at Zorbas, had a few Frappes and were able to take a great tour put on by the UN of the Green Line. This tour is very hard to get on to ( thank you Ralph! ) but really helps set the tone for the division of the island and some general history.
They come back tomorrow from Cario, this weekend I think that we will be out & about! Two trips planned to the North and two for the South. Come back soon for pictures!
