While it breaks my heart, we're giving away Athena & Achilles. As you may remember, we found them in Cyprus in August of 2005. They were under 1 kilo each, now Athena is about 45 pounds and Achilles is about 50. Ajax was rehomed in Jan 2006 to a lovely couple in San Jose. She's an artist and works from home, he works for a start up. Athena went last Sunday to an older couple in Marin County. They have a 4 year old male GSP named Chipper, horses and cats. She's in doggie heaven! This is the last picture we have of her. It's so wonderful to know that if we didn't pick them up that day that they would have died of heat and dehydration, instead they will have lots of love given to them. And give so much back.
