One of my favorite classes in undergrad was Art History. It was amazing to me how much art imitates life, or life - art. Maybe because it was a morning class but Monet's Haystacks looked like muffins to me. Rodin's Hand of God looks like a representation of the creation of Eve. Van Gogh's Blvd de Clichy still chills me to the bone to look at it... Perhaps that is a fundamental reason I tend to go to museums so much.
I've been trying to work off that last stone's worth of baby weight and pulled together a playlist for my iShuffle and it made me ponder, is music also an artistic medium which could imitate life? I stopped to look at my playlist, and indeed, I do believe that this is the last 10 years:
Are you strong enough to be my man? (Cheryl Crow)
Have I told you lately that I love you? (Rod Stewart)
Love Song (311)
Complicated (Avril Lavigne)
Schism (Tool)
Fallin (Alicia Keys)
You Make Me (Lit)
Little Man (Ozzy)
How to save a life (Snow Patrol)
The End (Doors)
So, my friends, I say to you, this is the end of the blog. Best wishes, lots of love and let me know how you are.
The End.
